Best Buy has committed $10 million over 5 years to pilot our innovative Community Impact Hub model in Los Angeles.
Through our Teen Tech Centers and tech education programs, we’re committed to improving tech equity by giving teens unparalleled access to:
- Cutting-edge technology, resources and training to make, create and innovate
- Mentors and peers who inspire new passions and possibilities
- Technical training and college guidance support that clear paths and open doors
South LA’s Best Buy Teen Tech Center powered by AnnenbergTech, is on the forefront of building a thriving network for teens from disinvested communities throughout Los Angeles. Because the established 35 nationwide Teen Tech Centers have been successful, Best Buy is committed to bringing 10-12 Teen Tech Centers to Los Angeles County.
Best Buy in collaboration with The Greater LA Education Foundation and Annenberg Foundation are assembling a coalition to raise an additional $10 million to bring the program to life.
